Today, on March 18, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff. They discussed the situation at the front, the construction of defense borders and more. This was reported on the President's Telegram channel.
During the meeting, according to the President, he received detailed reports from the frontline and listened to a report by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Oleksandr Syrskyi on the main directions of active actions.
The following issues were also raised:
- expenditures and receipt of ammunition;
- intelligence data;
- the status of execution of contracts and contracting for future periods.
The issue concerns procurement, as well as the production of equipment, weapons and shells.In particular, the President heard reports on the implementation of previous decisions of the Chief of Staff, namely:
- on the protection of critical infrastructure facilities: energy, water and gas supply;
- on continuing the construction of defense borders. The work continues.
