The European Union is moving forward on various fronts to maintain support for Ukraine. This is reported by Bloomberg.


The European Commission is expected to propose a framework for negotiations to advance Kyiv's accession to the bloc today, and a €4.5 billion payment to support the Ukrainian budget will be sent in the coming days.


In addition, the European Commission may propose as early as this week to allocate the proceeds from the windfall tax on profits earned from the frozen assets of the Russian central bank to Ukrainian military needs, an issue to be discussed by the EU finance minister today.
