There are no legal grounds to send MPs to the front: the Verkhovna Rada commented on the idea

There are currently no legal grounds to send MPs to the front. The number of mobilized MPs will not affect the situation at the front. People's Deputy Ruslan Horbenko said this in an interview with Telegraph.

"If we take the deputies of conscription age who are subject to mobilization, it will be about 180 people. This is two companies. This will not affect the war at all, because if you take any military unit, the minimum number of personnel is 5-6 thousand soldiers. So tell me, will these 180 people help? I think not. I understand, but we are talking about efficiency. Now five to eight MPs are definitely serving. There would be more people willing to serve, but an MP has no right to sign a contract not only with the territorial defense, but with any military unit at all," he said.
