Ukrainians trust former Chief of Staff Valeriy Zaluzhnyi the most. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS), published on February 15.


Thus, 94% of respondents expressed confidence in Zaluzhnyi, while 5% did not trust him (in December last year, these figures were 92% and 5%).


The second in the ranking is Kyrylo Budanov, the Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, who is trusted by 66% of Ukrainians, and 19% do not trust him (in December, the figures were 60% and 20%).


Zelensky is third on the list, with 64% of Ukrainians trusting the president and 35% do not trust him (77% and 22% in December). Thus, the level of trust in Zelensky has fallen by 13 percentage points.


The new commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, is formally trusted by 40% of respondents, distrusted by 21%, and 4% have an uncertain attitude.


"At the same time, 35% did not know him in February (and 48% did not know him in December). In terms of those who know him, 62% trust him in February, 33% do not trust him. In December, the ratio was 63% vs. 29%, meaning that the attitude towards him has not changed much compared to December," the KIIS report says.


It is worth noting that the trust rating of Serhiy Prytula has decreased to 61% compared to 69% in December, while distrust has increased from 25% to 33%. Serhiy Prytula is trusted by 61% of Ukrainians, while 33% do not trust him (in December - 69% and 25% respectively).


The level of trust of Ukrainians in other public figures from the KIIS list is less than 50%.
