Drone attack on Odesa: educational institution was damaged, two patrol policemen were injured

In Odesa, as a result of an enemy attack using Shahed-type kamikaze drones, damage to civilian infrastructure was recorded last night. This was reported by the head of the Odesa RMA Oleh Kiper.


"An enemy drone strike damaged an unfinished multi-storey building, smashing the windows. The building of the educational institution was also damaged: the roof and ceiling were broken, windows were broken. No fire was reported," he said.


All relevant services are working at the scene, the head of the administration added.


He also emphasized that the air defense units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine "effectively worked on the vast majority of enemy targets."


Later, the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine reported that two patrol police officers were injured when they were on their way to the site of the hit to help citizens. They sustained mine-blast injuries during the second explosion. They were hospitalized, their condition is stable.
