The world is once again returning to the need to be prepared for the "hot" phase of the war, and this requires a modern army. This was reported by Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
"The European Union, the United States and other countries of the democratic camp are facing the need to make important strategic decisions - the unconditional and immediate return of the issue of military security to the priority agenda," the statement said.
Danilov noted that the US, the EU and other democratic countries must make important strategic decisions and put military security back on the front burner. He defined this choice as difficult but necessary, given the need to redistribute resources for security and defense.
The NSDC Secretary emphasized that the number of shells for Ukraine is an indicator of the readiness of Western economies to military challenges, and emphasized the alarming results of such a test.
