Danilov: Justice is a key principle of the new draft law on mobilization

Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), believes that the main thing is that the new draft law on mobilization is fair. Although it is too early to discuss the norms of the document, as we need to wait for the final version. This was reported by Ukrainian Radio.

"The main thing is that everything is fair. The word "justice" is used by our President in relation to this draft law as a key guideline in this matter. Everything must be fair," he said.

Danilov noted that protecting the state is the duty of all Ukrainian citizens, a duty prescribed in the Constitution and relevant legal acts.

"I want everyone to understand that the war is not only on the front line, the war is going on throughout our country," said the NSDC Secretary, adding that "everyone should be involved, everyone should work for the victory of Ukraine."

Danilov also emphasized that "there is no law now, there is a draft law."

"When the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada adopt this act, when the president signs it and it becomes a law, then we will be able to say that it is a rule of law. Today, it is a draft law that MPs can adopt in one version or another. It is already the right of MPs to vote for this rule or to change it in some way. When there is a law, then we will be able to finally consider this issue," he emphasized.

He also asked to wait for the final version of the bill before making any conclusions about its form.
