Vladimir Putin will interfere in the US presidential elections in 2024. This was stated by National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov in an interview with The Times.

According to him, artificial intelligence has allowed Russia to significantly intensify its disinformation campaigns, and this is a huge step forward for Moscow. The NSDC Secretary is convinced that large-scale information interventions will be much larger than before.

"The Russian Federation now has special units dedicated to each country where elections will be held. The network of Moscow's informants and agents around the world is so large that it is impossible to remove Russian interference. The FSB continues to constantly sign contracts with European criminal groups," Danilov noted.

The publication notes that Russian agents spread 166 million disinformation posts about Ukraine on various platforms every week.

As a reminder, the US presidential election is scheduled for November 5, 2024.
