Yasno plans to cut off electricity to debtors from the end of January after the moratorium is lifted

The capital's energy supplier Yasno plans to start disconnecting electricity to debtors on January 29. The company's CEO Serhiy Kovalenko announced this during a national telethon, commenting on the cancellation by the Cabinet of Ministers of the moratorium on utility disconnections and charging of fines to the population.

"The first disconnections will start around January 29," he said.

In accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers' decision to lift the moratorium on utility disconnections, the company will take steps to inform debtors about their debts before disconnections.

The first stage will be the sending of notifications and call for payment of the debt, and only then will the power supply be cut off.

Kovalenko also pointed out that it is important to contact the company and sign installment agreements in cases of large debts to avoid disconnection.
