An interagency working group on the construction of fortifications will be set up at the Defense Ministry. Defense Minister Umerov and Minister of Digital Transformation Fedorov agreed on this at a meeting.

It is reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces "need timely and high-quality management decisions" on this issue. The new body will respond to problematic issues and coordinate the efforts of various departments.

The first line of defense is to be built by military units, and the second and third lines by the State Agency for Infrastructure Restoration and Development through private contractors.

The same Agency, along with business and regional administrations, will finance the project.
