The defense concern Rheinmetall has received an order from the German government to supply Ukraine with about 100,000 rounds of ammunition for 120 mm mortars. This is reported in an official statement of the concern.
"The order, which is worth less than three-digit million euros, is part of a recent military aid package of 400 million euros for the Ukrainian Armed Forces," the statement said.
It is noted that deliveries should begin in the near future and continue over the next two years.
