Peace formula and long-term assistance: Volodymyr Zelensky held talks with the Prime Minister of Japan

President Volodymyr Zelensky had a conversation with Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida. They talked about Ukraine's Peace Formula and more. This was announced by the Head of State on his Telegram channel.

The main points of the negotiations included:

  1. Volodymyr Zelensky expressed gratitude to Japan for its important role in supporting Ukraine during its G7 presidency.
  2. The President also welcomed the strong statement by the G7 foreign ministers who reaffirmed their continued support for Ukraine.
  3. The parties agreed to expand cooperation, including work on security guarantees and a conference on the restoration of Ukraine scheduled for February next year in Japan.
  4. Volodymyr Zelensky expressed gratitude to Japan for its assistance in the energy sector, including the supply of powerful turbines and transformers, as well as for the reopening of the JICA office in Kyiv.
  5. The parties also discussed long-term microfinance support for Ukraine and further efforts to promote the World Formula.
  6. Volodymyr Zelensky invited Fumio Kishida to participate in the upcoming second summit of the "Grain from Ukraine" program.
