On the night of October 6, the border and port infrastructure on the Danube in Odesa region came under attack by drones. The drone attack was carried out from Crimea. This was reported by the Southern Defense Forces on their Telegram channel.
A granary was damaged and several trucks caught fire. No people were injured. The ferry service has been temporarily suspended.
"Using the tactics of complex maneuvers, the barrage shells changed course several times, once again following the state border line," the Southern Defense Forces said.
Odesa Telegram channels also reported explosions in the areas of Izmail and Reni.
Later, the State Border Guard Service reported that the village of Orlivka in Odesa region came under the attack of Russian drones. It is located on the border with Romania.
The work of the ferry crossing in Orlivka (Reni district) has been suspended.
