Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said at the Yalta summit in Kyiv that Russian President Vladimir Putin is responsible for the death of Yevgeny Prigozhin, the leader of the Wagner PMC, in a plane crash. This was reported by the BBC.
"Putin has deflated - as a person, as a politician. He killed Prigozhin - at least we have this information," Zelensky said.
The President emphasized that Ukraine perceives the elimination of Prigozhin as a reduction in the number of terrorists. However, he also noted that the morale of Russians has suffered, as many of them used the Wagnerians in their actions.
"I think that this protection, which is covered by the lives of mercenaries, Wagnerians, they have lost it. This is definitely a plus for us," Volodymyr Zelensky explained.
