The enemy confirmed the loss of Robotyne

The Russian army has retreated from the village of Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia region, "governor" Yevgeny Balitsky announced.

He noted that it was inappropriate to hold Robotyne on an open plain where it is impossible to create fortified positions.

"The Russian army has left, tactically left this settlement, because it does not seem advisable to hold on to a bare plain when there is no way to dig in completely. That's why the Russian army retreated to the hills," Balytsky said.

According to him, the village of Robotyne has practically ceased to exist and is out of Russian control.

According to him, Russian forces "have taken the leading heights behind the village, Ukrainian units are down there, and this position suits us."

This is the first official confirmation of Russia's retreat from Robotyne.
