The Russian army has again intensified assaults near Robotyne. This was stated by the spokesman of the Tavria operational-strategic group, Dmytro Likhovyi, during a telethon.
"Orikhiv is becoming a hot spot in our area of responsibility. There the enemy is trying to cut off the Robotyne ledge. While in the previous days and weeks there were sometimes no enemy attacks there, sometimes there were 1-3, maximum 5, over the past day 16 attacks were recorded in the areas west of Verbove and Robotyne," he said.
It should be noted that in mid-February, the Russians already tried to advance in this area. According to some reports, they managed to reach the center of Robotyne. Ukrainian military publics reported that the Russians were periodically driven out of there.
"Now he (the enemy) is making some new offensive attempts there. The more the enemy advances, the more we destroy their manpower and equipment," emphasized Likhovyi.
He added that in the Zaporizhzhya direction, the enemy is trying to advance with ATVs.
