The Russian Defense Ministry announced the capture of the village of Robotyne, located in the Melitopol direction. The Ukrainian Armed Forces deny this information.
In particular, an Armed Forces lieutenant with the call sign “Alex” wrote on his Telegram channel “Officer” that almost the entire village is a gray zone, and the Defense Forces control all entrances from the nearby village of Novoprokopivka.
“Only their (Russian) bikers fly in, and they take off and never return. Once again, the capture of Robotyne is a lie, at the moment there are only good Russians there,” the statement said.
The press officer of the 65th Brigade, Lieutenant Serhiy Skibchyk, also said in a comment to Ukrainska Pravda that talks about Robotyne falling into Russian has passed into the hands of the Russians is not true.
“Every day they come back and try to gain a foothold. The village is under the fire control of Ukrainian and Russian troops simultaneously. But the majority of the village's territory is still ours,” he said.
Dmytro Pletenchuk, a spokesman for the Defense Forces of the South, commented on the situation to Suspilne. He claims that there are constant hostilities near the village, but the Russians have no success.
“The information about the alleged capture of Robotyne by the Russian army is not true,” the speaker said.
In addition, the map of Deep State analysts does not show any recent Russian advance in this area. It shows most of the village under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and some of it is in the gray zone.
As a reminder, the village of Robotyne was the main target of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' counteroffensive last summer, and was recaptured from Russia during those battles.
