Ukraine hopes for the support of other countries in extraditing citizens who evaded conscription by providing forged certificates of medical unfitness for military service. This statement was made by the head of the Servant of the People faction in the Verkhovna Rada, David Arakhamia, during a telethon.
The deputy emphasized that such evaders will be responsible for corruption, falsification of documents and evasion of mobilization. Currently, Ukraine is not able to bring them back to the country, but work is underway in this direction.
"The direction of international legal assistance has now become very strong. So, in any country in the world (except Russia), our law enforcement agencies can come and request the extradition of such people and bring them to Ukraine so that they bear the appropriate responsibility," Arakhamia said.
