Ukrainian Armed Forces broke through Surovikin line

As of August 30, the Armed Forces of Ukraine advanced to the village of Verbove and east of the village of Novoprokopivka in Zaporizhzhia region, Bild reports.

This allowed the Ukrainian military to break through the so-called "Surovikin line," which included a fortification line of concrete objects similar to "dragon's teeth."

The expert emphasizes that this line was broken through on August 30, and it held back Ukrainian soldiers for only about one day.

Ukrainian forces also advanced 2 km east of the village of Novoprokopivka.

This event takes place in the context of active hostilities in eastern Ukraine, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces are conducting a counteroffensive against Russian troops.
