The German government's position on providing Ukraine with TAURUS long-range cruise missiles remains unchanged. Recently, some German media reported that Berlin intends to approve the transfer of these missiles to the Ukrainian military. This is reported by the German newspaper Tagesschau, citing an official representative of the German government.

"There is nothing new to report regarding the TAURUS missile," the publication quoted an unnamed German official as saying.

According to her, Germany will increase efforts to provide military support to Ukraine, focusing on artillery, armored vehicles and air defense.

Earlier, the German newspaper Spiegel reported that the German authorities were allegedly in talks with the manufacturer of TAURUS missiles. There is currently no official confirmation of this.

People's deputy of Ukraine and the head of the country's permanent delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Yehor Chernev, said that key factions of the German parliament had allegedly reached an agreement to provide Ukraine with TAURUS missiles. However, in the first half of July, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said that Berlin did not intend to transfer TAURUS missiles to Ukraine.
