The situation now is such that despite the presence of weapons in the hands of the Russian invaders, we did not lose a single position in Bakhmut this week, and the enemy did not succeed in implementing their plans, Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Malyar said in Telegram.
Malyar noted that Bakhmut and events related to him remained the leading topic in Russian telegram channels and mass media during the week. "The analysis of the messages shows that for the enemy this city is of paramount importance. It is almost sacred," the official stressed.
"How does the enemy cover the information about the battles in Bakhmut? He praises himself, talks about the alleged success and invents stories about our military command," said Malyar.
She noted that "the enemy gives false information about the lack of weapons, which probably aims to justify the real situation."
"And the real situation during the week is such that despite the presence of weapons: the enemy failed to implement their plans; the enemy suffered heavy losses of manpower; our defenders advanced 2 km in the direction of Bakhmut; we did not lose a single position in Bakhmut this week." - emphasized the Deputy Minister of Defense.
