Over the past day, border guards in Bakhmut repelled two enemy attacks, as a result of which a dozen Russians were neutralized.
This is reported by the State Border Service of Ukraine.
"Yesterday morning, a dozen invaders tried to capture the stronghold of the border guards. The soldiers of the DPSU repelled the enemy attack in close combat," the border services reported.
The DPSU also reported that in another sector of the city, border guards-mortars prevented another attack by the occupiers.
"The fire raid of our forces destroyed the enemy's infantry on the march to the contact line," the DPSU added.
In general, during yesterday's day, the border units neutralized 10 invaders: one was killed, another 9 were wounded.
We will remind that the Armed Forces slowed down the Russian offensive in the Avdiyivka area.
