The Russian occupiers fired 71 cruise missiles during a massive attack on Ukraine. Air defense forces destroyed 61 of them.
This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhnyi.
"From 21:50 on February 9 to 12:00 on February 10, they (the enemy - ed.) launched 71 cruise missiles (Kh-101/Kh-555 - 43, "Kalibr" - 28), as well as up to 35 missiles of the C complex -300. In addition, the enemy used 7 attack UAVs of the "Shahed" type," he wrote.
Forces and means of the Armed Forces and other components of the Defense Forces destroyed 61 enemy cruise missiles and 5 drones.
Zaluzhny reported that the Russians carried out air and missile attacks using strategic aircraft (TU-95) from the Caspian Sea and Volgodonsk and cruise missile carriers in the Black Sea.
In addition, the S-300 missiles were fired from the Belgorod region and the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhya region in the Tokmak region.
