As a result of a massive nighttime missile attack on energy infrastructure facilities, Kharkiv is completely without electricity. In addition, due to the lack of electricity, there are problems with water and heat supply. This was announced by the mayor of the city Ihor Terekhov in a video message.
"For now, the water utility will supply water with minimal pressure. The situation with heat is extremely difficult. Currently, only 40,000 customers are supplied with heat from modular boilers. Heat supply to the rest of Kharkiv has been stopped due to the lack of power supply," Terekhov said.
He also said that the emergency numbers of the State Emergency Service, police, ambulance and gas networks are out of service. Therefore, he said, if necessary, citizens can call 15-62 and specialists will connect them with the necessary service.
Terekhov noted that all hospitals are powered by generators, and doctors are holding appointments as usual. All hospitals are supplied with water. In addition, the vast majority of shops, pharmacies, markets, as well as all the invincibility points where you can get warm and recharge your mobile phone, and hot food distribution points are open.
Ground transportation of passengers is carried out by buses.
Terekhov urged drivers to be careful on the roads as traffic lights are not working in the city.
