The Netherlands military will help transfer hundreds of American vehicles arriving in the city of Vlissingen to Eastern Europe to bolster NATO's eastern flank.

The Netherlands soldiers will help transport a US Army brigade across the country from early January to early February before the US military continues its journey to Poland and Lithuania.
The brigade includes 1,275 pieces of equipment, including many M-1 Abrams tanks, Bradley infantry fighting vehicles and other equipment, which will be transferred by road, rail and water to Eastern Europe.
The said brigade will be on the territory of Poland and Lithuania for six months.
