Croatia will hand over 230 transformers of various capacities to Ukraine, and 50 generators provided by the country have already been delivered to different regions of Ukraine. This was reported in the Embassy of Ukraine in Croatia.
"Croatia is handing Ukraine 232 transformers of various capacities. This aid package was formed by two state energy companies of the country. And 50 generators are already in Ukraine," the diplomatic mission said.
Ukrainian diplomats said that they plan to organize the delivery of 61 transformers by the end of the year.
Generators of various capacities arrived in Ukraine during November and the first half of December, in particular, 18 generators were sent at the end of last week.
"Croatia knows what it means to defend the independence of its state, because it itself has experienced external aggression, so it is trying in every possible way to help Ukraine protect its freedom," the embassy said.
