As a result of the full-scale invasion of Russia in Ukraine, at least 431 children died, more than 834 were injured. This was reported by the Prosecutor General's Office in Telegram.
"As of the morning of November 15, 2022, more than 1,265 children were injured in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. According to the official information of juvenile prosecutors, 431 children died and more than 834 were injured of varying degrees of severity. These numbers are not final, as work to establish them continues in places of active hostilities, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories," the message reads.
The most affected children were in Donetsk oblast - 422, Kharkiv oblast - 264, Kyiv oblast - 116, Mykolaiv oblast - 77, Zaporizhzhya oblast - 70, Chernihiv oblast - 68, Luhansk oblast - 64, Kherson oblast - 64, Dnipropetrovsk oblast - 31.
As a result of bombing and shelling, 2,719 educational institutions were damaged, 332 of them were completely destroyed.
