Another 38 bodies of dead Ukrainian soldiers were returned to the Ukrainian side. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Reintegration.
"The bodies of servicemen who gave their lives for Ukraine were handed over. Today, it was possible to return the bodies of 38 defenders to their families," the message states.
The department noted that the operation was carried out with the cooperation of Oleh Kotenko, the commissioner for missing persons, and the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine in accordance with the norms of the Geneva Convention.
Also, the press service added that since the beginning of the work of the Office of the Ombudsman, it was possible to return 663 bodies of dead soldiers.
