War veterans and family members of fallen soldiers can receive compensation for housing: details

Ukraine has included funding in the 2024 budget to provide housing for war veterans and family members of fallen soldiers. This was reported by the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.


It is about UAH 5.75 billion. Thus, compensation for the purchase of housing can be paid to more than 2000 people under three programs of the Ministry of Veterans.


The following are eligible to receive compensation:

Persons with war-related disabilities of groups I and II (ATO/JFO/defense measures, participation in hostilities on the territory of other states);

IDPs who are participants in hostilities or persons with war-related disabilities of group III (ATO/JFO until June 1, 2018). The year of stay in the IDP database is until February 24, 2022;

family members of a person who died (went missing), died as a result of the ATO/JFO/defense measures, participation in hostilities on the territory of other states.


You can submit documents for compensation for the purchase of housing at the Administrative Services Center or the social protection authority at the place of residence on the housing register.
