Since October 10, Russia has carried out about 300 strikes on Ukraine's energy system. This was announced by the Minister of Energy Herman Galushchenko on the air of the national telethon on October 20
"From last Monday until today, we have already had a total of 300 strikes on the power system: missiles, artillery and drones. Of course, preparations are underway - what to do in case of dramatic damage to the power system, which will require much more time to restore than we are doing now.
In this case, it is a whole mechanism in which almost all state bodies, all military administrations on the ground will be involved, and this will be communicated to the citizens so that they clearly know what to do in this or that situation. Conditionally: where there will be an opportunity to get electricity, heat, charge the phone, disconnect the connection, etc., - said the minister.
Galushchenko once again emphasized the critical importance of saving electricity. According to him, in the first days of massive shelling, Ukrainians were able to reduce consumption by 10%. At the same time, according to Galushchenko, it is important to increase this percentage to at least 20% of savings.
If it is not possible to achieve the desired results, the authorities will be forced to resort to fan blackouts.
