Ukraine continues to conduct military operations despite damage to half of the power system - Kuleba

According to information received from Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in an interview with Foreign Policy, half of Ukraine's energy system has been damaged by Russian attacks. Despite this, Ukraine does not stop military operations.

Kuleba noted that the military aid package promised by the United States has increased the morale of Ukrainians. However, he believes that the presence of Patriot air defense systems in this package would add even more motivation, as the Ukrainian population suffers the most from Russian shelling.

The minister also called ballistic missiles from Russia “the real disaster of this war” as they have recently been used to attack the Ukrainian energy sector.

Kuleba emphasized that it is necessary to understand a simple reality: half of Ukraine's energy system is damaged, and despite this, the country continues to manage the situation, conduct military operations and receive support from the international community.
