Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, arrived in Poland after a visit to Kyiv. He announced progress in creating a protective zone for the ZNPP.

Grossi's Twitter account writes about it.

"I arrived in Poland on a night train from Ukraine after an intensive week of consultations with Russia and Ukraine. We are approaching the creation of a protective zone for the Zaporizhzhya NPP - the situation at the plant is unacceptable and we need immediate action to protect it," Grossi said.

We will remind you that RBC-Ukraine wrote that during his visit to Kyiv, Grossi held talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba. The parties discussed the creation of a nuclear safety zone around the Zaporizhzhya NPP.

Before that, the head of the IAEA met with Russian President Putin.
