Air defense systems from allies and partners will be delivered to Ukraine as quickly as it is physically possible, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said.

 "These systems will be delivered as quickly as we can physically put them there. We remain focused on that. We will put the systems that we have at our disposal, that countries like Germany have at our disposal. We will also try to provide additional munitions to the existing systems , which are used by Ukrainian forces," Austin said at a press conference following a meeting with the Defense Contact Group of Ukraine in Brussels on Wednesday.

 He emphasized that the countries will do everything possible as quickly as possible so that the Armed Forces of Ukraine receive all the necessary opportunities to protect the Ukrainian people.
