The head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin, has arrived in Ukraine for a visit. He is in Kyiv today, November 20. The US Secretary of Defense posted a photo from the capital's railway station on Twitter.
He was met in Kyiv by US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink.
"I have just arrived in Kyiv to meet with Ukrainian leaders. Today I am here to deliver an important message - the United States will continue to support Ukraine in their fight for freedom against Russian aggression, now and in the future," Austin wrote.

It should be noted that the head of the US Defense Department arrived in Ukraine on the eve of the new meeting in the Ramstein format. The new meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's defense will take place this Wednesday, November 22.
