The United States will not allow Ukraine to lose the war with Russia. This was stated by Pentagon Secretary Lloyd Austin at a meeting in the Ramstein format.

"We know that the conditions in which the Ukrainian army is fighting are extremely difficult. Unfortunately, civilians are suffering from attacks by Russian drones. So today our message is quite clear. The United States will not allow Ukraine to lose. Our coalition will not allow it. And the entire free world will not allow it," he said.

In addition, he believes that Ukraine can stop Vladimir Putin, and the West must ensure this.

"We once again emphasize that we will remain united and strong. After all, the issue of Ukraine's freedom is important to all of us. That is why we must ensure that Putin stops in Ukraine. We know that he wants to go further. But Ukraine can stop Putin," he said.

According to Austin, military aid to Ukraine is the West's investment in its own security.

"Therefore, if we support Ukraine, provide it with the necessary weapons, we will invest in our own security. That is why we will continue to remain united against Putin. And we will keep our faith and values. We stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine," he emphasized.
