Germany has already handed over the first of the four promised IRIS-T SLM anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine. Spiegel writes about this with reference to sources.

 According to the publication, the transmission took place on Tuesday near the Polish-Ukrainian border.

 It should be noted that the delivery of IRIS-T was supposed to begin in November, but yesterday, October 10, German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht announced the transfer "in the next few days" after a massive missile attack by Russian troops on the territory of Ukraine.
