"As it was in 1945 with the Nazis": the Foreign Ministry called for a Ukrainian Foreign Ministry

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has called on the international community to support the creation of a special tribunal to investigate the Russian aggression against Ukraine so that Russian criminals would be tried by a tribunal as they were with the leadership of Nazi Germany. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said this on the occasion of 100 days since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

"Until the Kremlin stops the war it started and is duly punished for its crimes, including in the form of compensation for the destruction caused and court sentences for war criminals, sanctions pressure should only increase. the Putin regime should lose any influence in the world and its ability to commit external aggression, conduct information and psychological operations, spread corruption and manipulate history and culture to protect its invader interests," the statement said.

The Foreign Ministry noted that Ukraine's victory in the war would be the impetus for updating the overall architecture of global security and creating effective mechanisms that would make it impossible for a repeat of both Russian and any other international aggression.

"In 100 days of war, the Kremlin never achieved its main goal of conquering Ukraine. At the same time, russia has become the most subsanctioned state in the world, and its activities within international organizations and participation in international events have been significantly limited or ceased. The Ukrainian army is bravely holding its ground and has sacked territory in a number of areas. Ukraine is determined to achieve a complete victory over the Russian invader," the ministry summed up.

The Ministry of Justice said that it takes at least 3 thousand hryvnias per month to keep one prisoner of war.
