The Foreign Ministry said it condemned Russia's attempts to drag the Transnistrian region of Moldova into a full-scale war against Ukraine. The ministry called for an immediate de-escalation of tension. This was reported by Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleg Nikolenko on Twitter.

"Ukraine strongly supports the territorial integrity of Moldova within its internationally recognized borders. We condemn attempts to drag the Transnistrian region of Moldova into a full-scale Russian war against Ukraine. We call for an immediate de-escalation of tensions," he wrote.
