Canada will provide additional military aid to Ukraine in the amount of 38.7 million dollars. Sanctions will also be imposed against 40 Russians and five companies.
This was announced by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau during a briefing in Kiev.
The Prime Minister announced new sanctions against Russian citizens and companies. He specified that "oligarchs and associates of the regime associated with the defense sector" would fall under the restrictions.
"And we are imposing new sanctions against 40 Russian individuals and five entities, oligarchs and close associates of the regime in the defense sector, all implicated in Putin's war," Justin Trudeau said.
