The European Union must increase military support to Ukraine, especially with heavy weapons. And there is no more time for excuses.
German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock said this at a press conference before the EU Council meeting.
She said Ukraine needs military support to defend itself against Russian aggression.
"We are taking care of this together with our European partners. Ukraine needs more military equipment, especially heavy weapons. There is no time for excuses now, now is the time of creativity and pragmatism," Berbok added.
At the same time, she stressed that European countries are waiting for evidence of Russian war crimes in Kyiv's suburbs.
Earlier, the Czech Republic handed over to Ukraine several dozens of Soviet tanks and infantry fighting vehicles.
