On Friday, April 1, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron. During the conversation they discussed negotiations with Russia and security guarantees. Zelensky announced this on Twitter.
"Continued talks with President Emmanuel Macron. Talked about countering Russian aggression. Discussed the negotiation process - the progress and prospects, the importance of security guarantees. France's initiative on humanitarian corridors from Mariupol should be implemented," he wrote.
