It is noted that the units of the National Guard continue to destroy the Russian occupants in the Kyiv region. "Yesterday the National Guardsmen quite successfully carried out the assigned tasks, pushing back the enemy and striking fire at positions and equipment in areas where enemy forces are concentrated", - indicated in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
It is also indicated that the soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine shot down an enemy UAV conducting aerial reconnaissance and fire adjustment.
"At the same time NSU units together with other defenders are fighting for Mariupol, Kharkiv, in Cherkasy region and in the Sumy direction and in the area of the OOS", - added the Interior Ministry.
We recall that on March 29, the Russian Defense Ministry said that it would reduce combat operations in the Kyiv and Chernihiv directions.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the words about the "withdrawal" of Russian troops from the Kyiv and Chernihiv directions is not a withdrawal, but a consequence of the work of the Ukrainian military.
According to the AFU General Staff, as of 6 a.m. on April 1, there is a continuation of partial withdrawal of Russian occupation troops from the north of the Kiev region towards the state border with Belarus.
