In Energodar, Zaporizhzhia region, Russian occupants kidnapped the first deputy mayor, Ivan Samoydyuk.
This was reported by the mayor of the city Dmitry Orlov.
"In what condition he is, we do not know! He hasn't been in touch since yesterday. And today we received confirmed information that he was cynically kidnapped!" - Orlov reported.
Also according to him, the Russians began physical, psychological pressure on the residents of Energodar, who are active in their public activities. The Russians are looking for those Energodar residents in whose principled position they see a threat to themselves.
Orlov appealed to deputies and activists to be careful, not to answer unfamiliar phones and not to reveal their actual whereabouts.
At 2 p.m., the townspeople gather near the city council building for a rally.
The occupants have already kidnapped the mayor of Skadovsk and city council employees in Bucha, but fortunately they were not held for long.
On March 13, the occupants kidnapped Zaporizhzhya Oblast Council deputy and director of the Melitopol City Museum of Local History Leila Ibragimova and Melitopol District Council chairman Serhiy Prim.
On March 11, armed men kidnapped Mayor Ivan Fedorov, and on March 12, the activist Olga Gaisumova.
Also this morning, the occupants kidnapped Yevhen Matveev, the mayor of Dneprorudnoye in Zaporizhzhia region.
