Law enforcement officers detained another FSB agent. The traitor tried to poison the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhia region. This was reported by the SBU press service.
"The SBU military counterintelligence prevented a Russian sabotage against the Defense Forces command on the southern front. As a result of the special operation, an FSB agent was detained who tried to fatally poison the commanders of a combat unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhia region," the agency said.
The attacker was an active serviceman of the Ukrainian army. To commit the crime, he planned to add a poisonous substance to the water of the bath and laundry complex used by the command staff of the Armed Forces.
Thanks to the timely response, the enemy's sabotage plans involving the traitor were prevented.
In addition, the investigation revealed that the offender was performing another task - reconnaissance for the FSB of the location and movement of the Armed Forces units on the front line.
