Under martial law, all national news channels will broadcast a 24-hour telethon.
The National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council announced this on March 20, referring to the decision of the National Security and Defense Council.
"The unified information policy in the state will be implemented through the unification of the work of all national TV channels," the statement said.
As noted in the National Council, to implement this decision, the multichannel television network operator company "Zeonbud" during martial law will work as part of the Concern of Radio Broadcasting, Radio Communications and Television.
It is explained that such decision was taken due to the direct military aggression on the part of the Russian Federation, active dissemination of disinformation, distortion of information by the aggressor state, as well as justification or denial of armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
Decisions of the NSDC on the national marathon were adopted on March 18.
Establish that in a state of war the implementation of a unified information policy is a priority issue of national security, which is implemented by uniting all national TV channels, the program content of which consists mainly of information and/or information and analytical programs on a single information platform of strategic communication. 24-hour information marathon "Unified News #UArazom," - stated in the decision.
