Russian troops are preparing the second wave of a large-scale offensive, which Ukraine must approach as ready and united as possible. The secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Oleksiy Danilov, said this on his Facebook.
"We have withstood the first, the most severe wave of the attack of the Russian orcs. The myth of Putin's most modern and powerful army in the world has been destroyed and burned on the roads of the Kiev and Kharkov regions, Chernihiv and Nikolaev regions. The Russian terrorist troops have not achieved strategic success in any direction. The enemy is still dangerous and is preparing the second wave of a large-scale offensive, to which we must approach as ready and united as possible," Danilov warned.
He noted that the Ukrainian army is fighting back with dignity, and the day of Ukraine's victory over the Russian chimera is getting closer every day.
According to him, the cities of Kiev, Kharkov, Mariupol, Nikolaev, Chernigov and Odessa remain strategically important.
"The enemy's plan is to take the key cities into encirclement, deplete the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and create a situation of humanitarian disaster for the civilian population," the secretary of the NSDC told.
He stressed that the main attention of the command of the Russian occupation forces is shifting to the South, trying to deprive Ukraine of access to the Black and Azov seas "which, in their opinion, will create conditions for the economic suppression of the Ukrainian resistance."
"The enemy leaves no hope of capturing Kiev and forms resources to encircle the Dnieper River. On the Ukrainian side is regrouping, replenishing with fresh reserves and saturating the Ukrainian army with the latest weaponry. Yesterday's helicopter attack confirms this," Danilov stressed.
He also noted that Ukraine has made the most difficult, step to victory, but there is still a lot of work ahead to destroy the occupiers and the return of all Ukrainian lands!"
"The funeral vests for Russian mothers and tons of charred Russian military iron is a memo for the next wave of occupiers: don't get involved - we will kill! And we will kill so much that the stupefied Russian society will wake up, if not from guilt, then from pain. And we will get through to you. Never go to war with the Ukrainians, sooner or later we will come to you to pay back all the debts you have accumulated, and the bill has run up for centuries," Danilov added.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in his video address that the invasion of Ukraine by the occupation forces of the Russian Federation had been planned in advance and was not an improvisation. The occupiers prepared this invasion knowingly in violation of the rules of war.
