The Committee of Permanent Representatives of the EU member states decided to add five more people to the sanctions list in connection with the violation of Ukraine's territorial integrity.
This was revealed to Radio Liberty correspondent Ricardo Jozwiak.
"The EU ambassadors have now decided to add five more people to the sanctions list of persons in connection with the undermining of Ukraine's territorial integrity," Jozwiak noted on Twitter.
He recalled that these people contributed to the elections to the Russian State Duma on the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea. The decision will be officially approved later in February.
The current EU sanctions list for undermining the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine includes 177 people and 48 companies.
