French President Emmanuel Macron will hold telephone conversations with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin in the evening of February 3.

According to Ukrinform, this is stated in the schedule of the French leader, published on the website of the Elysee Palace.

It is noted that at 20:30 on Kiev time will be a telephone conversation between Macron and Zelensky.

Before that, at 19:00, the French President will hold a telephone conversation with the head of the Kremlin.

As previously reported, Macron held a conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday, January 28, during which the leaders agreed on the "need for de-escalation" and the continuation of "dialogue" on the situation around Ukraine.

On the same day, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had a telephone conversation with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron. The heads of state welcomed the activation of the Normandy format and the meeting of the political advisers of the Normandy quartet leaders in Paris on 26 January.

It was stressed that for the first time since 2019, a document was agreed on the results of the negotiations.
