The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrski, together with other security forces flew to the Volyn region to get acquainted with the situation on the ground, as well as to determine the actions to protect against a possible attempt to break the Ukrainian border migrants.

The Volyn region for the examination of the border was not chosen by chance - it borders on the west of Lublin voivodship of the Republic of Poland, in the north - with the Brest region of the Republic of Belarus.

It is noted that along with the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Chairman of the State Border Service, Sergei Deineko, the head of the National Police, Igor Klimenko, and Deputy Chairman of the National Guard of Ukraine, Yuri Lebedev, also visit the border.

As part of a working visit to the Volyn region, exercises will be held at the Hrabovo border unit of the Lutsk border detachment for combat coordination between all subordinate structures of the Interior Ministry, the State Border Service and the National Police, the National Guard of Ukraine, the State Service for Emergency Situations and the Migration Service.

"In order to counteract the potential migrant crisis, we will involve all five structures of the Interior Ministry without exception as a single fist of internal security of Ukraine," Denis Monastyrsky said.
