Ukrainian Volunteer Army members were blown up in a car near Odesa: details

On the evening of February 19, a car carrying a man and a woman exploded in the village of Hvardiyske, Odesa region. This was reported by the press service of the National Police of Odesa region.


The report says that the victims were injured and hospitalized with numerous injuries.


For its part, the Ukrainian Volunteer Army reported that the car of its representatives was blown up. They were Albert and Natalia Kruchinin. The UVA noted that the explosion occurred near one of the military facilities in the suburbs of Odesa.


"The UVA command considers this crime to be a terrorist act, and considers the activities of enemy subversive groups as a priority version. The UVA's own security units have already received urgent instructions," the statement said.

Investigators have registered in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations information about the attempted premeditated murder of two people in a manner dangerous to the lives of many people. This crime is punishable by imprisonment for a term of 10 to 15 years or life imprisonment.
